ARISE offers a variety of life-skill lessons that will provide participants in Job Corps the foundation they need to achieve in their academic, professional, and personal lives. ARISE curriculum promotes independent living, personal growth, employability, and life skills. Relevant topics include time management, networking, money matters, anger management, basic health, and parenting. Drawing on 20 years of evidence-based national and international experience, the ARISE Life-Skills and Staff Training program has created interactive, comprehensive, curricula for at-risk and low income young adults building their capacity to live independently and attain, as well as, sustain employment.
ARISE Life-Skills Lessons satisfy many of the Job Corps Career Success Skills (CSS) program standards and competencies.
