ARISE Life Skills Instructor Training and Certification This training is designed specifically for those working with at-risk youth. |
The ARISE Life-Skills Instructor Training is a one-day (7-hour) training that certifies participants as ARISE Life-Skills Instructors. Attendees will be thoroughly introduced to the ARISE curricula and how to utilize it effectively. Participants will discover the easy-to-teach ARISE formula that promotes high levels of interaction in group settings. Designed for those directly teaching life-skill lessons to at-risk youth, the training itself is highly interactive with many opportunities to practice newly found skills. In addition to learning how to conduct the lessons, attendees will also learn classroom management skills and tips on how to handle troubled, disinterested, angry, and disruptive youth. This training is a must for anyone wanting to utilize the ARISE life-skills curriculum to its fullest potential. The ARISE Life-Skills Instructor Training will help staff work with youth in a more productive and positive way. Benefits include a reduction in staff turnover and less staff on youth friction.
